thought i'd do a piece with a lot of asteroids for a change. i had a terragen render left and altho it is not one of the best it suits the piece imo. i'm sorry for the big filesize but it is worth it and cropping it would mean loss of detail. all favs and comments appreciated as always
edit: added forgotten reflection. tnx to coldflame for pointing it out.
nice work man.. i think u cud have more detail on the imapcts rather than a white blurred effect and some debris.. and perhaps vary the asteriod's tails so they arent all the same.
theres something about that small planet that doesnt seem right to me either.. i think its the lighting.. im not sure
anyway a great piece, nice idea!

It's quite nice. The meteors look a bit odd, if you ask me. And the impacts could look better. But the composition's good. I just wonder, where are the meteors hitting, if Earth's in the background?

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
