Dreams Last Forever by DKF Dreams Last Forever by DKF
Hey there, been a while.

Well i had kind of a block working on other stuff so i decided to pick up a nebula i started some time ago. Finished it today after working for about 3 hours on it.

One of my most "realistic" pieces i think. Lots and lots of details all painted in photoshop exept for the planet and the metheors. Well enough talking from me, i'll let you people do the rest ;)

Very cool, I love the variety of colors you put into the nebula, meshes very well. Love how you've done the sun as well with the teeny pinprick of light and the large glow, really gives it an effect of distance. Awesome work. :)

This is truly fantastic . . . I've always been envious of people who can create art so beautiful that it makes your mind go blank when you look at it. Wonderful work.

One piece of advice: I noticed that the light rings around the two brightest starts are a little choppy -- instead of a smooth fade into the darkness they get darker in little steps. You can fix this by adding just a little bit of film grain in Photoshop. Hope I've been of some assistance!

that's surely realistic, very nice textures

but there's something missing there, isnt it?
maybe there isnt that nice balance of lights on it.
you know, the colours, and the black bg...

omnis looks nice. something different, you know.
i like it :)

Yup, all the right detail in this piece. BUT something is missing for me, some energy I think. It may just be colour choice that has stunted that for me, or possibly the flow of the gases.

Hmm, i think it is the coloration wich in some places is not as good as it could be. If not then 'd like to hear what you think it is. tnx ;)

As I say, the colour kinda stunts that energy/flow (and yeh, maybe composition a tad.). Still, piece does have a couple of gems in it :)

i enjoy almost everything about this picture. it's got a lovely composition and the far suns give a great atmosphere. also the planet looks nice adn the asteroids fit in there very well. however the nebula is a little too crisp towards the top imo and i'm not sure if i like the mixture of so many colors. :+fav: anyway :P
