After some time finally a new terraspace piece. A collab between and me
It took some time for me to finish this one but the base was exelent to work on. Great detail and a good surfacemap, all combined in terragen made this 6000x3000 pixel render a good piece and with the additions i made i think it looks even better. I want to thank =environaut for his patience once more. It took quite some time for me to finish this.
We are also making this one a print so for anyone that wants this on his/her wall just click this [link]
So now all head over to give =environaut a watch and please do leave a comment as well on his submission of this piece [link]
Yeow, the nebula really sets the mood for the piece with the vivid purple and pink colours. The rockblast and the dust trails really add a nice touch. Amazing work. This is what inspires me to try more terraspace
As for critique, I think I'm repeating someone, but I would've liked to see a curve to the meteorite trail, a slight parabolic would do . The little man also doesn't seem to be congruent with the rest of the pic.
Once again, amazing job
I hope you read this comment. Or maybe you won't, I don't give a shit. Either way, I feel for you. People have come from across the website to take a look at the blood, sweat, and tears that you put into this, there is a ton of hardwork in this and it really shows. What pisses me off is that the same people who came across Deviantart to look at it have the balls to criticise such fantastic work. Maybe they don't like it all, but that doesn't make it their place to say, "Hey, you really ruined it with the person in the corner," or , "Hey, good work but I don't like the terrain or the dust clouds from the impact." That is totally bull. I would like to see them make something this good. Sorry if I seem a bit rude and vulgar, but it just makes me mad when people do stuff like that, it totally ruins the thrill for the author of working on such a great piece of artwork.
If you want my personal opinion, I think the entire image is absolutely spectacular. The one part that is really amazing is where the dust fragments have touched down and made their own explosions, how did you do that??
The fragments are pure brushing, some time went into getting those right. Tnx for the comment, although i think that good constructive critisism can help improve art. Ofcourse you can't satisfy everyone but some feedback is welcome from time to time. tnx again
The nebula and the detail of the terragen stand out to me overall.
The one thing I don't like about this is that the meteorite trail is straight. It would seem to me that it would be at least curved a bit. I dunno, it just seems funny to me.
The perspective of the planets is pure mastery, so is the terrain in first plane - great details

Cheers

Anyways, phenomenal artwork.
Thanks for reading,
